Husky Energy, Resorts of the Canadian Rockies (RCR) and Alpine Canada Alpin (APA) have announced that the Husky Snow Stars Grade 2 FunPassä program will take place again this season.
Now in its’ forth season, the FunPassä program provides Albertan children in Grade 2 with an RCR Super Pass for the 2006/07 ski season for free. With the pass, kids have the opportunity to hit the slopes at Lake Louise Mountain Resort, Fernie Alpine Resort, Kimberley Alpine Resort and Nakiska.
This privately funded program helps keep children active and healthy throughout the winter while providing an opportunity for them to build skiing and snowboarding skills and enjoy the outdoors.
With countless runs to explore and terrain for all ages and abilities, hitting the slopes is a great way for the whole family to stay physically active this winter.
Instead of hibernating through the cold winter months – head to the mountains for a day of fun and fitness!
To qualify for the Husky Snow Stars Grade 2 FunPassä, children must be in Grade 2 (or born in 1999). A copy of a birth certificate, Grade 2 report card, or last year’s Grade 1 report card must be provided and there is a $10 pass processing fee.
